Le Bistrot du Bord de L'Eau, at Levernois
Located in the former kitchens of the 1750 historic building, the Bistrot is the link between past and present.
This beautiful place, decorated with strong and soft colours and subtly illuminated, conveys a special atmosphere.
Burgundy stone flooring, French-style ceiling, teak and oak furniture are mixed with amethyst tableware. The Bistrot offers a lovely terrace alongside a charming river called the Bouzaize that meanders through the park of the Hostellerie.
The Chef Philippe Augé bases his cuisine upon local fresh market produce of the season, always with the intention of enhancing regional products. Below are some examples of dishes:
- Burgundy Snails in sweet garlic broth
- Eggs « en « meurette” with Chardonnay, grilled Speck
- Broth of Fresh Herbs and braised stuffed Vegetables
